Bael (or Bili or Bhel) is a herbal product. Another name is Aegle Marmelos [wood apple]. It is a tree species native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.  The tree is considered to be sacred by Hindus. Bael is a fiber-rich fruit. Due to its laxative properties, bael can help in the bulk formation and effective cleansing of intestines.

How to take

Take 1-2 slices of dried Bael fruit, flush with boiling water, put into a glass teapot, and add 250 ml of hot water (95-100°C). Let it infuse for 10-15 minutes. Serve drink hot, warm, or ice cold. You can use it as tea or juice.
